Egyptian Attorney General Ragaa El-Arabi decided to prevent an Israeli citizen from traveling, accusing him of smuggling drugs.
Security authorities have arrested David Minokornes while he was trying to bring a quantity of hashish into Egypt in his car four years ago. Minokornes received a sentence of life imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 Egyptian pounds.
He was released on a bail of 1,000 pounds after being retried by the court of cassation, where it was indicated that the accused is working as a painter for Israeli television.
