Establishing four private navigational companies in Egypt
The Egyptian Ministry of Maritime Transport agreed to renew four maritime companies affiliated to the private sector 10 months after liberating the sector of navigational authorization from governmental control.
Sources in the ministry told ArabicNews.com that these companies are affiliated with two major marine lines, the Maersk Line of Denmark, and Switzerland's Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) line.
The sources added that the Maersk Line has established three Egyptian subsidiary companies for shipping and managing ship services, while MSC established a mutual project with Egyptian businessman Samir El-Alili known as MSC Misr to perform all navigational services allowed in Egypt.
