Gulf summit in December

Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates, directed invitations to the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states to participate in the works of the 19th Gulf summit, which will be convened in Abu Dhabi from December 17 - 19.

Arab League Secretary-General Esmat Abdul Meguid agreed to an invitation he received today from Sheikh Zayed to participate in the meetings of the summit, which will tackle the situation in the Gulf area, relations with Iraq, the developments of situations among the Gulf countries and Iraq, especially a dispute over three Gulf islands between the UAE and Iran.
