10 killed in Khamis Malyanah

Armed groups in Algeria on Monday night carried out a new attack that killed 8 persons and wounded another 10 were in Khamis Malyanah in the province of Ain Defla, to the west of the capital Algiers.

The Algerian daily al-Khabar added that an armed group "cut the throats" of one man and his son in al-Medea province.

The paper added that one citizen was killed at a fake roadblock in the Algerian province of Tissemsilt. The paper added that the Algerian security forces killed one member of the armed group in Saida province and arrested several gunmen in Sedi Bu Baker district.

Algerian security forces also arrested 24 gunmen from the armed groups, led by "Abu Saheib" in M'Sila province.
