Iraqis demonstrate against US threats

Iraqi demonstrators today set fires in the flags of the US and Israel in their protest of the US threats to launch a military strike against Iraq. Some 1,000 workers from the Iraqi workers trade union gathered in the downtown of Baghdad and headed to the UN headquarters where they condemned UNSCOM and burned US and Israel flags. In Dubai the official at Nayef company for naval services Issa Bin Hader said that the ship "Bin Ali will leave "Rashid" port in Dubai today for the Iraqi "Um Qaser" port. Commenting on expected US strikes against Iraq, Bin Hader said: "we do not feel frightened." The same ship, however, made it its first naval trip to Iraq last week.
