The Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat said today that Israel is the reason for not implementing the Wey river accord."

He said "this is strange, Israel's government has not yet ratified the agreement, and nothing is implemented and still it direct accusations at a time when we implemented all our obligations according to a set time table and with America's admission and ratification."

He added that "these declarations made by the Israeli government become very strange, as it accuses the Palestinian authority of violating the agreement that it has not yet ratified it."

Meanwhile, the Israeli cabinet ratified the Wey river accord today, to be later considered for ratification by the Knesset. A statement released by the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's office, reported that the Palestinian government has begun to take measures to destroy the infrastructure of terrorism and combating it in the regions controlled by the Palestinians.
