Arab transportation cabinet meet on Thursday in Cairo

The Arab transportation cabinet will hold its 14th session on Thursday in Cairo under the chairmanship of Sheik Ahmed Bin Naser, the Qatari minister of transportation.

Discussions will include a Kuwaiti work paper on a united system of information which aims at centralizing data and necessary statistics to allow for strategic decision for improving and upgrading land transportation in the Arab states.

The study pointed out that there are a number of barriers obstructing the implementation of this system such as coordination on the administrative side and the different internal standards in each country due to different terminologies in the field of land transportation.
