Originally published

The Tunisian ruling party "the Democratic Constitutional Rally" (RCD) and the Moroccan nationalist "Istiqlal Party" (PI), which is participating in the Moroccan socialist-led coalition government, convened to sign a framework accord for cooperation in all fields.

The two parties decided to set up a working group that will finalize the accord at a meeting here last week between the RCD and the PI secretary generals, Abdelaziz Ben Dhia and Abbes El Fassi.

The accord would provide inter-alia for the exchange of delegations of youngsters and women and for the trading of experience especially in matters of political training.

Abbas El-Fassi was in Tunis along with delegates of other Moroccan political parties to attend an international symposium on the challenges of the 21st century, sponsored by the RCD.
