Ali Saleh phones Saudi crown prince
The Yemeni radio in Sanaa on Sunday said that the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh discussed during a telephone conversation with the Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul al-Aziz border demarcation between the two states. The radio added that "Saleh phoned the crown prince and discussed with him matters relating to suspended border issues between the two countries."
Since 1995, the governments of the two countries have been making talks on joint border demarcation. So far land border demarcation has not been completed and no demarcation has been so far made for sea border. Earlier, the Saudi daily Okaz quoted prince Abdullah as saying that " his country does not oppose arbitration if Yemen wants so."
