Egyptian company to establish automotive factory in Saudi Arabia

The company Ghabour Egypt, which produces Japanese Mitsubishi automobiles, is currently negotiating to establish a factory in Saudi Arabia after it succeeded in obtaining authorization to produce Mitsubishi minivans, vans and trucks in Egypt and the whole Arab region. In a press conference, the head of board of directors, Raouf Ghabour, said yesterday that his company will primarily produce normal and luxury vehicles and minivans.

The company, whose sales amounted to 1.5 billion pounds in the Egyptian market alone, aims at expanding its factory in Saudi Arabia to be able to enter competition with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
