Iranian attacks US for regional domination policy

The supreme religious leader in Iran, Ayatollah Khaminei, launched a strong attack on the US, saying that Washington is "trying to once again spread their political and economic domination over the resources of the country."

Khaminei said in a speech he delivered yesterday on Iran's National Day that Washington refuses the principle of an Islamic state and will accept nothing but the complete domination of Iran, "which is against continuation of their illegitimate domination."

He added that, "Having no relations with the US is one hundred percent in the interest of the Iranian nation," saying, "the available experiences around the world have proved this reality."
