Palestinian - Egyptian communications regarding running Gaza airport

Palestinian - Egyptian communications are currently being made to arrange a meeting between the two civilian aviation companies affiliated to both sides within the Palestinian government's preparation for running Gaza Airport as well as organizing direct flights between the airports in Gaza and Cairo.

The communications concern the possibility of benefiting from Egyptian experience in running airports.

A Palestinian source told ArabicNews.com that several Arab states informed the Palestinian government of their approval of routing trips to and from their capitals through Gaza airport. Among those countries are Egypt, Jordan and Morocco.
