Moroccan official attends in Spain conference on women and migration

Moroccan Secretary of State for Cooperation Aicha Belarbi is attending in Barcelona, Spain, a seminar on women and migration in the West Mediterranean countries.

The seminar, which is being held on November 2-6, is debating historical, political, legal, socio-economic and cultural aspects of women's migration.

Ms. Belarbi will deliver a presentation on the phenomenon in the region and in Morocco, particularly.

Representatives, researchers and politicians from Europe and the Maghreb are attending the conference, which is sponsored by the a local institute for studies and cooperation in the Mediterranean and the Spanish Foreign Ministry.
