Iraqi minister of trade to be in Cairo mid-November

Iraqi Minister of Trade Mohammed Mahdi Saleh is scheduled to arrive in Cairo in the middle of the coming month to meet with his Egyptian counterpart, Ahmed Goweili, to discuss increasing Egyptian exports to Iraq.

Iraqi sources said that Mahdi Saleh and Goweili will head the meetings of the economic joint committee to discuss increasing trade exchange and to endorse new agreements in the field of exporting medicines and medical equipment.

The sources added that Egypt and Iraq recorded a volume of trade exchange amounting to $250 million, which is to be increased to $1 billion during the coming year.
