Originally published

The Saudi Tabook pharmaceutical company began to export its products to Algeria after establishing a branch there within the company's policy to enter new markets in the countries of North Africa.

This step came after the company established exports to Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, and is setting up now to enter the United Arab Emirates' markets.

The general manager of the company, Mohamed Abdul Rahman El-Shakl, said that the volume of exports to foreign markets amounts to 15% of the company's production, adding that his company will export more than 17 kinds of medicines to Algeria.

Tabook's company produces 30 kinds of medicines, and its sales to the private sector amounted to more than $6.7 million last year.
