Saudi - Egyptian training

Official sources in the Ministry of Defense in Cairo announced that the Egyptian - Saudi joint training exercises known as Morgan-4 are to start today. Elements from Egyptian and Saudi naval forces in addition to elements from the two states' air forces are to take part in the annual training in the Red Sea.

Meanwhile the works of the first stage far of the annual US - Egyptian military training called Iron Cobra '98 will begin today, in which air, land and parachute forces will take part. The US Department of Defense referred to the exercises as an "air mobility field training exercise designed to enhance Egyptian defense capabilities."
