Israel establishes canned food factory in Jordan

The Israel Kaneil company has decided to build a factory for food processing and canning in Jordan.

The Jordanian paper Akhbar al-Osbo quoted Jordanian industrialist sources in Amman as saying that the Israeli company views the establishment of the factory as falling in the course of its plans to get into new markets in the region and as a bridge to cross into other states.

The paper added the factory will depend on local Jordanian labor force, and raw material. Its products will be marketed to the other Arab states markets through marketing networks owned by Israeli exporting companies.
