Morocco and France sign partnership convention for education promotion

Morocco and the French League of education and teaching signed here Thursday a partnership convention for the promotion of education.

The convention provides for inter-cultural exchanges to promote education favoring understanding and tolerance among peoples.

The convention encompasses health and environment education, school exchanges, multimedia education, pedagogy, school libraries, school insurance, partnership in arts, culture and sports and creation of holiday centers in the two countries.

The document was initialed by Moroccan minister of national education, Ismail Alaoui and secretary general of the French league, Jean Marc Roirant.
