European Union and democracy in Algeria

The European Union on Thursday urged Algeria to proceed forward in its democratic transformation, human rights and in fighting terrorism, whereas Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmad al-Attaf expressed his country's keenness to sign an association partnership agreement with the EU.
