Report: German embassy to reopen in Baghdad

The Iraqi newspaper El-Jomhouria reported yesterday that Germany seeks to reopen its embassy in Baghdad, which was closed during the 1990 Gulf War.

The newspaper said that the two countries exchanged some official delegations during recent months to discuss resuming diplomatic relations.
