Egypt informs Oman of mediation in Syrian - Turkish disputes

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa sent an oral message yesterday to Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf Bin Alawi that was conveyed by Kheir El-Din Abdul-Latif, the Egyptian ambassador in Oman.

Egypt's ambassador in Muscat said that the message deals with the Egyptian mediation efforts exerted till now in the Syrian - Turkish dispute in addition to discussing bilateral relations between Egypt and Oman.

He pointed out that he conveyed to the Omani minister Egypt's congratulations for Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and for the Omani people for being granted the international peace prize.
