U.S. denies the existence of marine bases in Yemeni territories

The US embassy in Yemen denied in a statement yesterday the existence of a marine base for the U.S. in the southern Yemeni city of Aden.

The embassy said, "Washington does not own any base in Yemen."

The statement added that there is a forged document that is currently circulating in Yemen related to US - Yemeni relations.

The statement also said that the U.S.A participates in a small program for military cooperation with Yemen that comprises separate visits for US military ships to Yemeni harbors and joint training.
