Israel conducts military maneuvers in occupied Golan

Israeli Chief of Staff Shaoul Mofaz attended on Tuesday military maneuvers in the occupied Syrian Golan. In a speech he delivered, the Israeli Chief of staff expressed his hope that the Wye Plantation negotiations may achieve progress.

He stated that his army is ready to implement any agreement that may be agreed upon at the Wye plantation meetings. He also claimed that the Palestinian Hamas movement seeks to torpedo the possibility of reaching an agreement between Israel and Palestine.
