Establishing three electrical stations in Sinai

It was decided to establish three new major electrical stations in the Sinai, each with a capacity of 650 megawatts, which equals the electrical energy produced from the High Dam's generating station. It will support the electric net and fulfill different development needs. Egyptian Minister of Electricity Maher Abaza told ArabicNews.com yesterday that the stations will be established with "BOT" system without placing any financial responsibility on the Egyptian government. However, Abaza did not reveal the estimated costs for these projects, saying it is still under study.
