Morocco to host conference on divergences between Moroccan and Dutch laws

Originally published

Morocco will host in 1999 a conference on divergences between the Moroccan and the Dutch laws to study practical measures and proposals to handle legal problems facing Moroccan expatriates in the Netherlands.

Preparations for the conference were reviewed at a meeting between speaker of the Moroccan house of representatives and a delegation comprising members from the Dutch coordination association and the Moroccan association of assistance to children and families.

The meeting also reviewed laws on families and children and divergences between Moroccan and Dutch laws in this regard in view of the large Moroccan community living in the European country.
