Australian police investigate death of al-Ghamidi
The Australian police on Thursday said it had not yet found the killer of Saudi diplomat Abdullah al-Ghamidi. A spokesman for the Australian federal police, Erik Mayor, was quoted as saying that the police did not arrest anybody.
One person was seen leaving the crime site in a car when the crime was committed.
On Tuesday, the Australian police found the Saudi diplomat dead after his throat was cut in his flat in a Kingston suburb.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Saudi embassy in Canberra demanded the killer to be presented before justice very soon.
Al-Ghamidi, who has been working as the first secretary at the Saudi embassy for seven years, was living alone.
