The Israeli occupation forces and pro-Israeli militias on Wednesday morning shelled, using heavy artillery, the Deir Mukhles area, Beshri river area and al-Daher farm in al-Kharroub district in south Lebanon, Lebanese security sources said.

In retaliation, Lebanese resistance forces bombed the Israeli positions at al-Abbad in the occupied border strip of south Lebanon. In a statement, the resistance said that resistance forces would extend their shelling of the Israeli forces continue to launch acts of aggressions.

Israeli forces admitted that one Israeli soldier was wounded when a mortar shell fell on the position.
