Syrian Mufti calls for boycott of Turkish products
The Mufti of Syria, Ahmed Keftaro, called for convening an exceptional Islamic summit to oppose the Turkish threats of invasion of Syria, which he said are due to the military alliance between Turkey and Israel, emphasizing that Islamic country's governments should boycot the Turkish government's attacks on Iraq, Syria and Iran.
During the delivery of his weekly lecture broadcast by Syrian radio from Abi El-Nour Mosque yesterday, Keftaro said the language of threats and invasion will never lead to a solution for the countries.
He said that logic depending on facts and following the principles of Islam, is the one and only language and method that can achieve the purposes and joint goals, pointing out that the methods used by Turkish officials will greatly harm the Moslem people by cooperating with the "Zionist invasion."
