Arresting the killer of the Israeli officer

Israeli forces were able to arrest the killer of an Israeli soldier after shooting and wounding him.

The Israeli officer, a female, was stabbed with a knife by a Palestinian citizen yesterday outside an Israeli settlement north of Ariha city in the West Bank.

Israeli Radio said she was standing at a junction on a main road near an Israeli settlement that is under full Israeli security control.

The radio report said the Israeli forces arrested the killer, a resident of Kiasia city near Genina city in the West Bank, after shooting him in his leg as he tried to escape.
