No French confirmation on a poisonous gas in Iraqi missiles

The French Defense Ministry said on Thursday that laboratory analysis carried out by France do not confirm the existence of VX gas on the warheads of Iraqi missiles.

The spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry was quoted as saying that France does not have final and definite results on the existence of VX gas in the data analyzed in a French laboratory. The spokesman asserted that France has no intention to delay the transfer of any information to UNSCOM.
