$50 million to develop Tunisian harbors, marine fishery

The International Bank for the Establishment and Construction specified 50 million dollar for financing a project for developing Tunisian harbors of Rawes, Bizerte, Gabes within projects of developing an infrastructure for the marine transpiration sector which total $84 million.

Tunisian economic sources said today that Arab and foreign experts were asked for support to develop work methods within the marine transpiration sector, especially in the field of harbor administration.

Meanwhile, The Tunisian Cabinet ratified yesterday a plan to develop the marine fishery sector which constitutes 8% of Tunisian food production. 60,000 work in this sector.
