AL chief admitted to hospital

The secretary-general of the Arab League, Esmat Abdul Meguid, was admitted to a hospital on Tuesday in Brussels to undergo medical tests after he had became exhausted following his visits to Belgium and New York.

Official Arab League spokesman Ali Talaat Hamid said the AL chief will return to Cairo on Monday after undergoing medical tests at a Brussels hospital, as recommended by doctors there.
