Volume of banking credit in Omani banks is 2.4 billion riyals

The volume of loans for the commercial banks in Oman during the first quarter of the current year reached 2.4 billion Omani riyals compared to 1.8 billion riyals in the same period of last year, an increase of 36.6%. The Omani Central Bank said in its quarterly report, that the personal loan sector obtained 872.2 million Omani riyals with 36.4% of the total loans while the import sector obtained 319.8 million riyals with 13.3%.
