Egyptian, Sudanese Foreign Ministers meet in Cairo

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa and his Sudanese counterpart, Mustafa Othman Ismael, held on Monday night a lengthy meeting after the latter arrived in Cairo in a sudden visit.

Talks dealt with " bilateral relations and means of reviving them as well conditions in Sudan."

The Sudanese minister said that he agreed with his Egyptian counterpart to exert "joint efforts to restore relations to their normal condition," adding that he hoped there will be progress soon.

Moussa, on the other hand, confined his statement to saying, "Talks dealt with bilateral relations and the situation in Sudan."
