Opposition warns international and Sudanese parties against investment in Sudan

Originally published

At the conclusion of its meetings in Asmara, the opposition Sudanese Democratic National Alliance warned foreign and Sudanese parties against presenting any economic support for the war efforts of the Sudanese government or supporting its political program.

In a statement issued at the conclusion of the meeting held in Eritrean capital, the opposition alliance announced that it had ratified resolutions activating joint military leadership to improve the operation of their troops. The assemblage expressed its relief toward the obvious upgrade in the military work of the opposition forces in eastern, southeastern and southern Sudan.

This meeting is considered a continuation of meetings held Cairo in the middle of August.

ArabicNews.com has learned that second general conference for the Democratic National Alliance will be convened at the end of the current month, but the Sudanese opposition did not specify the place of the meeting.
