Libyan legislature to convene later this week
Libyan Radio broadcasted yesterday that Libya called for the General People's Conference, the biggest legislative organization in the country, to convene its annual session later this week.
The conference convenes once or twice annually to discuss internal, external, economic, and social policies, ratify rules as well as the budget and appoint a new government. Libyan Leader Moammar Gaddafi usually delivers a speech before the conference, whose works lasts for days.
