Austria to resume trade relations with Iraq

An Austrian trade delegation on Wednesday held talks in Baghdad with Iraqi officials centered on means of resuming trade relations between the two countries.

Chairman of the delegation Joseph Mayre, who is also foreign trade affairs secretary, said the visit of the Austrian delegation aims at resuming trade and economic relations between the two countries and to reset these relations to what had been before.

The Austrian official leads a trade delegation comprising distinguished businessmen in Austria in the areas of foodstuffs, energy, waters and other relevant industrial fields.
