Egyptian Foreign Ministry doesn't expect change in relations with Germany

Germany is going to host the third formal ministerial conference for European - Mediterranean participation, during April, 1999.

Fathi El-Shazly, the Egyptian assistant foreign minister for European affairs, said he is not expecting a great change in German foreign policy after the new German chancellor, Gerhard Schroder, of the Social Democratic Party assumes his office, saying that changing the chancellor himself or the ruling alliance in Germany will not affect German - Egyptian relations.
