Zeroual starts consultations with political party leaders on Wednesday

Algerian President Liamine Zeroual directed written invitations to leaders of political parties represented in the Algerian parliament to meet with him on Wednesday to discuss methods of and conditions on organizing early presidential elections, to be held in February.

The meeting will include parties of the Democratic Front, the Movement for a Peaceful Society, the Rally for Culture and Democracy, the Renaissance Party, the Progressive Republic Party.

A second meeting with parties that are not represented in the parliament will take place soon.
