American maneuvers on Iraqi borders

Joint land maneuvers began yesterday between the US and Kuwaiti armies. Forces from the two sides flew to the northern border region near Iraq to hold the maneuvers.

Kuwaiti sources announced that Kuwait is reinforcing its presence on the borders, especially after Baghdad threatened Kuwait because the international economic sanctinos have not been lifted from Iraq. Kuwait denied the reports.
