53 million shares in Egyptian stock market owned by foreign investors

A recent report by the Egyptian financial market revealed that foreigners contribute to 110 companies that are registered in the Egyptian stock market ,with 53 million shares, accounting for 6.6% of the total shares.

The capital of these shares reached 4.7 billion Egyptian pounds, or 11% of the total market capital for the companies in which they contribute, which totals 42 billion pounds.

El-Ehram company for drinks topped the list of companies to which foreign investors contribute, with foreigners holding 81.6% of the company's total shares. This company is one of two that produce alcoholic drinks.
