Kuwait Airlines stops service to five countries

Originally published

The deputy general manager for trade affairs at Kuwait Airlines Barak El-Sobieh told ArabicNews.com that Kuwait Airlines will stop today its trips to five countries -- Tunisia, Greece, Morocco, Germany and Denmark -- beginning on October 1. Moreover, El-Sobieh said the company will also reduce its trips to other countries and rent out some of its planes to attain an acceptable income within the increasing losses facing the company's operations after it resumed operations after the Gulf War.

El-Sobieh concluded his declarations saying that the seven Kuwait Airlines bureaus in Cairo will be consolidated into one bureau.
