OIC assists Muslim flood victims

The Organization of Islamic Conference has decided to extend financial assistance to the Red Crescent Societies in Bangladesh, Yemen, Niger and Sudan.

A communique released Monday by the OIC said the assistance was allotted within the frame of the OIC solidarity with these Islamic countries hit by floods and affirmed that the aid is meant to alleviate the sufferings of the Muslim people in these difficult circumstances.
