Torrential rain destroys three houses in northern Morocco
The Torrential rain, which affected Monday Northern Morocco, destroyed three houses, damaged sewage and drinking water conveyance networks and cut telephone lines.
Three boys, who were swept by the water currents, were rescued and rushed to hospital for first aid medical care.
The Local authorities have re-housed the effected families and started works to clear blocked passageways and restore the damaged public utilities.
The beginning of the fall season is often marked by heavy rains. The most serious loss was recorded in 1995 when floods killed 150 people in a mountain resort near the southern city of Marrakesh.
