Sanaa denies Yemeni involvement in Nairobi, Dar es Salam embassy explosions

Yemen Foreign Minister Abdul Kader Bajamal denied yesterday the involvement of a Yemeni citizen in the explosions of the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

In press statement today, Bajamal said the suspect, Mohammed El-Awahi, is not of Yemeni origin, although he used a Yemeni name and passport. He confirmed Yemen's cooperation with U.S. in the investigations concerning the two explosions."
