Sudan praises Egyptian mediation with the opposition

Mustafa Othman Ismael, the Sudanese foreign minister, announced yesterday that his country will accept any agreement adopted by Egypt to end the armed conflict between the Sudanese government and the opposition.

He said that Sudanese - Egyptian relations have recently viewed a tangible improvement, adding that he met Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa during the recent Non-Aligned Movement summit in South Africa and during the meetings of the Arab foreign ministers' conference in Cairo. They agreed on resuming meetings to discuss unresolved issues.
