Sudan denies sending forces to Kinshasa

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mostafa Othman Ismael denied yesterday that his country sent any military supplies to the President of Democratic Republic of the Congo Laurent Kabila as alleged by the UN. He accused Sudanese rebel forces of fighting on the side of the rebels in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

These statements came on the margin of the Arab foreign ministers' conference held in Cairo.
