More than a million citizens under the poverty line in Jordan

A recent report issued by Ministry of Social Affairs in Jordan stated that the percentage of Jordanian families living under the poverty line increased during the last 10 years.

While the line of absolute poverty reaches 124,000 families with an average of 9 persons per family, which makes the number of Jordanians who live under the poverty 1.114 million.
