Moroccan minister stresses need for dialogue in air carrier strike

Moroccan Interior Minister Driss Basri stressed the need for dialogue in the conflict between technicians and the national air carrier, RAM.

During a series of meetings he held on Monday and Tuesday with RAM chairman and general manager Mohammed Hassad, the minister hailed the RAM officials' dialogue and openness in handling the issue and the agreement reached between the administration and the technical staff representatives.

Hassad briefed the minister on details of the conflict and commitments and agreements reached between the two sides and expressed concern that violations committed by the strikers might harm the company.
