Israeli jets violate Lebanese airspace, nine Israelis hit

Originally published

Israeli warplanes on Tuesday continued their violations of Lebanese airspace. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli jets flew on Tuesday noon at very low altitudes in the airspace over the western and central sectors of south Lebanon, carrying out mock raids.

Meanwhile, an Israeli military spokesman stated on Monday night that nine soldiers were hit in operations carried out by Lebanese resistance forces in the occupied strip of south Lebanon on Monday morning.

The Israeli spokesman added that a joint military position for the Israeli occupation forces and their South Lebanon Army allies was directly hit. Smoke was seen billowing from a military position, and nine soldiers were hit as a result.

The Israeli spokesman did not specify the location of the military position that was hit.
